“In a world where we are living beyond our means, Business as usual (considering nature as unlimited and free) is dead. There will be winners and losers, as there is no business in a world in shambles.”
Full house at our thought-provoking Think & Drink with Philippe Joubert on Monday, September 16th.
This was not another talk on sustainability but rather about the fundamental change that needs to happen at Board level for businesses to survive.
To be economically smart, socially acceptable and legally safe, Boards need to build sustainability into the heart of business strategies. Philippe Joubert shared multiple intriguing business cases showing that long-term growth is only possible by valuing natural capital in our business model and acknowledging climate change and its risk.
We are happy that Philippe shares key extracts from his presentation within our Skills Factory. Let us know if you want to explore this topic further.
Philippe said “We need to go back to the purpose of business”. We hope we served the purpose with this event.
Looking forward to our next “Think & Drink” where our mission to improve the world of work for everyone expresses itself best.
