Job Description

Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of machine tools. Due to business expansion, we are currently partnering them to look for a Sales Manager to specialise in Laser Technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world class organisation who are known for their cutting edge technology.

The candidate will play an important role in developing the laser market for additive manufacturing systems, 3D laser systems and industrial laser sources by identifying and developing business opportunities with new and existing customers. You will manage customers within the assigned sales area which includes customer visits, technical and commercial discussion, organising application tests, generating customised offers, final negotiations and order closing as well as post sales payment follow up. 

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering and at least 4 years of experience in selling manufacturing equipment to automotive companies or suppliers. The ideal candidate is self-driven, highly motivated and thrives on building long term customer relationships. You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to engage people at all levels. The candidate is expected to travel occasionally to Germany and across Asia to support marketing activities in the form of exhibitions and trade shows.
