Job Description

Our client is an established organisation within the Cruise Retail space. They have recently won a tender and is currently looking for a hands-on and self-driven individual to join the business as a HR Manager.

The successful candidate is responsible for the overall operational requirements in the areas of manpower planning and selection, training, onboarding and payroll processes. You will work closely with the other entities on talent management and rotational plans as well as handling disciplinary issues. In addition, you will coordinate HR processes effectively and work closely with the L&D team on training matters. You are expected to take care of the staffs' well-being and ensuring compliance to Singapore's employment law and Maritime law. In this role, you will be part of a performance driven team with opportunities to expand your skill sets and grow with the business. 

To excel in this role, you should have a Diploma or Bachelor in Human Resource Managment or related field and at least 7 years of HR generalist experience in an independent contributor capacity, preferably within the Cruise, Travel or Retail industry. The ideal candidate is meticulous, independent and happy to roll up his/her sleeves when required. You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to engage people at all levels in a diverse working environment. User knowledge in SAP and MS Excel is highly advantageous. Minimal travelling every quarter is expected in this position.
