Job Description

Our client is a market leader within the Travel Retail space. We are currently partnering them to look for a Chief Commercial Officer to drive the profitability and efficiency of the business as well as providing valuable leadership expertise. 

The CCO is responsible for the commercial development across every trading product (e.g. best assortment per market place, cost price negotiations per brand) and supply chain's excellence across APAC markets. You will manage the supply chain and play a critical role in developing a strategic direction of the Purchasing, Supply Chain and Marketing needs of the business. Reporting to the CEO, you will develop and ensure consistency of commercial agreements and vendor management processes. The key responsibility of this role is to create opportunities to initiate mutually beneficial relationship with other Travel Retail partners. The business has been expanding their operations across the APAC region and this is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are looking to make a key difference with a reputable and well-respected organisation. 

To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related field and at least 12-15 years of experience in the Retail or Travel Retail industry managing multiple locations and customers. The ideal candidate has a strong network within the Travel Retail sector and has extensive experience in the field of Purchasing, Supply Chain and Marketing. You are a strong negotiator with sound decision making skills and has the ability to inspire and lead by example.
