The aim of this training is to significantly improve your ability to meet the challenges of working in a European company (with HQ in Europe) or with European stakeholders. The objective is to enhance your overall intercultural business skills and your specific knowledge on the many different cultures which will help you to improve your business communication with HQ as well as your European colleagues in Singapore. Our expert trainers will share their experience and knowledge of European working practices and help you leverage intercultural skills and strategies to increase your business impact as a manager working for/with overseas companies.


At the end of this training, you will have acquired the necessary skills to:

  • Understand the background, cultural values and working practices of the main European cultures (UK, Germany, France, Spain as well as other countries of your choice).
  • Be aware of your own preferred working style based on the results of your individual Cultural Profile.
  • Identify the cultural gaps between yourself and specific European cultures and the impact this could have on business aspects such as decision-making, delegation, holding meetings, negotiations etc.
  • Develop strategies to adapt your communication and management style to increase your impact as a manager.
  • Build and nurture your professional relationships with various stakeholders (colleagues, clients, suppliers etc.) in Europe.


  • Managers and other business professionals who work for a European multinational in Singapore.
  •  Local business professionals who are moving to Europe for an expatriate assignment.
  • Other business professionals who will be working or doing business with European teams, companies and cultures.


The training includes 12 months access to our online tool Nomad’ Profiler / Network valued at S$120. This exclusive resource provides the opportunity to create an individual Cultural Profile (based on 10 cultural dimensions) and compares the individual working preferences to other cultures to gain a fuller understanding of cultural differences and potential gaps to bridge.
